'07 Jaguar XJ

For the 2007 Jaguar XJ small design changes were made over the previous models. Its profile sees the cab a bit forward and the wheels nearer to the edges. There is also a shortening of the front overhang. The windshield is much more sloping than before.

The XJ come equipped with what Jaguar calls the Computer Active Technology Suspension system. The base models have a wheelbase of 119.4 inches while the longer models have a wheelbase of 124.4 inches.

Inside the 2007 Jaguar XJ is quieter than most sedans on the road as it employs an acoustic laminated side glass which reduces the level of noise coming inside the cab. The seats have leather upholstery and five persons can be seated comfortably due to its roomy interior and raised roof. The color scheme inside the cabin is walnut and Piano Black. If you thought the exterior was something to look at the interior is equally a site.

'06 Jaguar XJ

Looking more like true luxury the 2006 Jaguar XJ boasts slick line and wonderful styling. When you enter this sedan it is a special feel with the leather seats and wood trims.

There is adequate leg room in the base models and in the extended-length models there is even more leg room. The backseats in the Super V8 can be tilted backwards if greater comfort is needed. It is quiet and gives an easy ride and brings much power when needed and is easy to handle. There are six trims to be had all built with strong components and designed with a touch of class.

The 2006 Jaguar XJ is fitted with antilock brakes, traction control, an antiskid system, and front, rear, and curtain side airbags. The engines are very powerful with V6 and V8 available. A tire pressure monitoring system is fitted which should help many drivers keep their tires properly inflated.

'05 Jaguar XJ

Serving up four different trim packages, the 2005 Jaguar XJ has something for every car drivers liking. There is the base model the XJ8, the performance model the XJR, the XJ8 L, the Vanden Plas, and the Super V8. The XJ8 L, Vanden Plas, and the Super V8 all come with an extended wheelbases making them roomier than the base models.

A 4.2 liter V8 engine is common to each model but the XJR and the Super V8 puts out 390 horsepower, the other models give 294 horsepower. The transmission offered is a six speed automatic and this is the only one offered on all models. Self-leveling air suspension also common to every model of the 2005 Jaguar XJ

The XJ8, XJ8 L and Vanden Plas have 18 inch wheels, while the XJR and Super V8 come fitted with 19 inch wheels. Fuel economy on all models average between 15 – 19 miles per gallon.
